A story rooted in the land, with love and care
On the Camping Le Foci was founded in 1980, when the Ferrazza family decided to transform an old sheepfold and hayloft into a small, green campsite in Opi, in the heart of the in the Abruzzo, Lazio & Molise National Park..
Since then, much has changed. A bar,a mini marketa , and a traditional restauranthave been added. And yet, the meadow and hills on which the campsite stands have remained untouched for over 40 years.Not by accident but by choice.

Our top priority has always been harmony with the environment: to live in the park without invading it, to welcome guests without compromising the place, and to offer comfort without disturbing the ecosystem.
This principle guides every decision we make, even the smallest ones. A clear example is our outdoor lighting plan, designed to improve visibility without increasing energy consumption..
Technology and nature can coexist
Our investment in sustainability
With care and responsibility, we have chosen to install solar-powered street lamps in key areas of the campsite:
- The car park
- The tent pitch hill
- The caravan area
These solar solutions combine modern technology and aesthetic respect for the landscape, avoiding light pollution and preserving the natural night-time atmosphere of the campsite.
This project is part of a broader commitment to certified environmental sustainability, in line with UNI EN ISO 14001 and EMAS standards.

- Proper waste sorting (recycling)
- Limiting water and energy use
- Respecting silence and local wildlife
- Staying on marked trails
- Avoiding fires outside designated areas
